Ganjuo Otsutsuki possesses incredible strength, capable of easily defeating Tail Beasts. During the early stages of Naruto, Ganjuo's strength was considered decent, as he captured and subdued the Four-Tails Jinchuriki. 

However, as the story progressed, his strength became more evident. With his weaponized body, he possessed an abundance of chakra, allowing him to create tidal waves and absorb others' ninjutsu.

Despite his defeat by Might Guy and betrayal from his weaponized body, Ganjuo broke free and sacrificed himself to protect his organization's information. In the new era of Naruto, the weaponized body is possessed by Ganjuo's descendant, Kimimaro Chimato. 

Ganjuo, unlike Kimimaro, had control over the weaponized body and could replenish his chakra by absorbing its energy. Only Ganjuo and Killer Bee possess this ability, but Killer Bee can only use it due to the weaponized body's interest in the Eight-Tails' chakra. Overall, Ganjuo Otsutsuki is the strongest member of the New Seven Swordsmen of the Mist.
