1. Naruto and his friends encounter Lee during their journey to the Chunin Exam. Naruto, wanting to prove the Uchiha clan's strength, accepts Lee's challenge but is easily defeated. Mei, Might Guy's telepathic creature, arrives and scolds Lee using Telepathy Jutsu, a technique also used by Pain. Pain uses this technique to summon members executing missions outside to seal the Tailed Beasts when they capture a Jinchuriki.
2. Might Guy has used Telepathy Jutsu on other occasions. When taking Naruto to Turtle Island to meet Jiraiya, Guy uses Telepathy Jutsu due to his seasickness, summoning a small turtle. Another time, while leaping through the air, Guy uses Telepathy Jutsu to summon a turtle as a jumping point.
3. During Orochimaru's invasion of Konoha, Kabuto uses genjutsu on the spectators. Kakashi and Might Guy, being upper-level ninjas, see-through and dispel the genjutsu while most ninjas are deceived.
4. In the Ninja Academy, students must pass an exam on Shadow Clone Jutsu to graduate. Naruto initially struggles with this Jutsu but later learns it from the Scroll of Sealing. Might Guy, as an upper-level ninja, must also be skilled in Shadow Clone Jutsu to graduate.
5. Although categorized as taijutsu, Might Guy's Eight Gates technique grants him power surpassing the Five Kage when the Eighth Gate is opened. When Guy opens the Sixth Gate, the Gate of Joy, he can create fire techniques through friction with the air. This can be considered a variation of Fire Release, despite not using chakra.
