1. Gaara: Gaara introduced the concept of absolute defense with his sand-based Shield of Sand. However, this defense was weak against fast attacks. To achieve true absolute defense, Gaara could cover his skin with a layer of sand. During the Chunin Exams, Rock Lee was able to break Gaara's absolute defense, and even Sasuke's Chidori couldn't stop him. Gaara was later captured while protecting the village.
2. Neji: Neji, a genius ninja from the Hyuga clan, possessed the Byakugan, which granted him the ability to use the Rotation technique. By releasing chakra in 360 degrees, he could deflect all long-range attacks. However, Rotation had a blind spot due to Neji's status as a branch member. This flaw was exploited by Kidomaru, resulting in Neji's severe injury. Neji later sacrificed himself during the Ninja World War.
3. Orochimaru: Orochimaru, one of the legendary Sannin, claimed to have an absolute defense with his summoned Triple Rashomon. However, Naruto easily shattered it with a Tailed Beast Ball, putting Orochimaru's life in danger.
4. Third Raikage: The Third Raikage possessed incredible physical strength and used the "Strongest Spear" and "Strongest Shield" techniques. However, during the Ninja World War, his shield was pierced by his spear due to falling for Naruto's plan.
5. Uchiha Sasuke: Sasuke's Susanoo, considered an absolute defense, was unable to withstand Mei Terumi's Boil Release or Tsunade's attacks. This showed that absolute defense also has its limits.
