1. Shiju Yashamaru: Yashamaru, leader of Amegakure, had resistance to poison and incredible speed. He was killed by Nagato after conspiring to kill Yahiko. Nagato then took over as leader.

2. Rokuubi Bubble Guy: Bubble Guy, with the Six-Tails beast, became a renegade after being used as a weapon. He was killed by Nagato after losing the Tailed Beast.

3. Jiraiya: Jiraiya, one of the legendary Sannin and Third Hokage's disciples, taught Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan.

4. Kakashi Hatake: Kakashi, Naruto's teacher, learned ninjutsu from the Fourth Hokage and had the Sharingan. He could copy almost any jutsu. Kakashi was defeated by Nagato and died while saving Chōji.

5. Naruto Uzumaki: Naruto trained in senjutsu and upon learning of Jiraiya's death, he sought vengeance. With Sage Mode, he defeated most of Nagato's Paths but was eventually defeated by the Deva Path. The Nine-Tails' rampage saved him from extraction.
